TOUGH "SAVAGE STYLE" TVP CHASSIS

The chassis for the Savage XS Flux is very similar to the nitro- and FLUX-powered Savage that everyone in RC knows and loves: the legendary and original TVP Twin Vertical Plate chassis! The TVP design in the Savage XS FLUX is formed from two extra-thick molded chassis pieces, connected by the the diff cases at either end and the transmission case and motor plates in the center. These load-bearing central chassis structures help provide extreme chassis stiffness and toughness!

ALL-METAL TRANSMISSION GEARS

The Savage XS FLUX features super tough, all-metal transmission gears to make sure that the power from its brushless motor is completely uninterrupted . From the pinion and spur gear, through the multi-gear transmission to the front and rear differentials, metal driveshafts and axles, the Savage XS FLUX is perfectly designed to deliver power directly into the ground. The entire drivetrain spins on highly efficient ball bearings for extra-long runtimes and mega-fast top speeds!

From the Center Differential and Super HD Drivetrain, to the Bulletproof 29/9T Differentials and 17mm axles and hex hubs, to the new Rugged Bumpers, every inch of the Savage XL FLUX V2 is built to survive and dominate. With beefy suspension arms, ready to take the punishment of big-air drops while everything within is protected by the reinforced Xtra-long wheelbase thick aluminum TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis and Xtra-long center skidplate, flanked by sturdy, new streamlined battery boxes.

ULTRA TOUGH OVER-SIZED SUSPENSION

With its over-sized suspension design, the Savage XS FLUX is super-tough and capable of handling even the wildest bashing action! Extra-thick arms and shock towers, plus solid upper links combined with all-steel hardware make the Savage XS chassis the ultimate mini-monster bashing machine! Sturdy yet flexible wide bumpers at both ends are fitted with skid plates to give the truck extra durability no matter what scrapes you get into!

ALL-TERRAIN 1/10TH OVERSIZE TIRES

With the aggressive tread of the 2.2" GT2 tires, you can go off-road to on-road with predictable handling. The center tread lines give you stability on paved surfaces while the blocky tread pattern and heavy-duty sidewall teeth provide grip for off-road terrain like dirt, mud, muck, leaves. They're mounted on gloss black 2.2" Warlock wheels for tough monster truck styling. For maximum hop-up potential, the Savage XS Flux accepts a wide variety of 1/10th scale 2.2" wheels and tires, making customizing your truck easy.

FLUX MMH-4000 MOTOR

The Flux MMH-4000 motor delivers massive power - plenty of juice for instant wheelies and standing backflips! Option pinion gears are available to fine-tune the speed and torque delivery! The brushless design assures maximum performance with nearly no maintenance required.

FLUX EMH-3S ESC

With the capacity to handle 2S and 3S LiPo power, the Flux EMH-3S electronic speed control can take anything you can possibly throw at it and keep coming back for more! The EMH-3S features an integrated cooling fan to keep it cool in tough conditions. The reversing function of the Flux EMH-3S ESC lets you easily back out of jams with ease.

LIPO BATTERY POWER

The Savage XS FLUX was designed from its initial conception to use powerful 2S or 3S LiPo packs. A 2S (7.4V) pack will give the best balance of handling and performance and is what we suggest for most owners - but if you want to go for top speed runs you'll want to fit a 3S pack! 11.1 volts will let you do standing backflips and speeds up to 65 miles per hour (with the optional 34-tooth pinion gear) without breaking a sweat!
Option parts #105809 & #6924 are required for 3S running in most situations like going off-road or doing stunt driving.

ALL-NEW RADIO GEAR

Like all HPI trucks, the Savage XS is easy to drive with the included steering wheel controller.
The All-New 2.4Ghz FHSS TF-50 Transmitter is packed with features including a swappable steering wheel design for left handers, foam covered wheel, rubber finger and thumb grips, rubber bumpers on all corners, magnetic area for body clips or screws, digital switch, audible warnings if you leave it on, as well as a host of servo adjustment parameters.

ELEMENT-PROOF PROTECTION

The Savage XS features protection for its electronics and it's ready to tackle wet conditions like mud, rain and snow! The waterproof receiver is completely sealed from moisture, protecting it in wet conditions to ensure glitch-free operation. The water resistant SS-20WR steering servo and waterproof EMH-3S electronic speed controller complete the package, allowing you to enjoy the action on the road no matter what the weather is like! Please note: the electronics are not designed for submerged operation. Be sure to rinse off any dirt or salt water with clean water immediately after driving. Check the motor to make sure no water or dirt is inside, spray with electric motor cleaning spray and let dry fully before driving again.
